Crocheted Items

I crochet the bath items using  cotton thread, making them machine washable. The soap saver bag may be used with a new bar of soap or as a way to use the last of your soap scraps from several bars.

Items will vary in color and pattern. The pictures are intended as a sample of the variety. Please, contact me if you desire a particular color.

Approximate dimensions, unless otherwise stated, are as follows.

Hand Towel      16" x 20"

Plarn Bags: First I have to herd all of the Pleep (plastic sheep) together so I can shear them. Further processing yields balls of roving plarn (plastic yarn). These I crochet into post consumer, upcycled tote bags. I embellish the bags with yarn remnants and plarn/yarn flowers.

Strong, waterproof (not watertight) and practical.

Great for shopping at a store or Farmer's Market, a trip to the beach, a picnic, a overnight trip, a craft bag or use as a diaper bag. Go Green.

Coat of Many Colors

$65.00 - $85.00

Coat_Many_Color_Model pic here

This coat of many colors was an experiment that I love but may not appeal to some. It is acrylic, cotton, wool and ribbon with a tie in front of overlap and ties on the sides. One size fits most depending on how it is tied.

Our first (2008) year at Louisiana Renaissance Faire  was very successful.  Thanks to Larry & Gwendolyn House of Dragons Watch Forge & Foundry and Rick Hight, GM for LaRF, for making this possible. And our heartful appreciation to all of the patrons who visited our shop. We look forward to seeing you again in 2009.
